AEF Basketball Tryouts
AEF Basketball – Spring / Summer 2027 Tryouts
AEF Basketball is a development-driven basketball program built on three core values: Attitude, Effort, and Faith. Our mission is to help every athlete grow on the court, in character, and in confidence. The Spring/Summer 2027 Tryouts allow us to evaluate athletes fairly and place them on teams that match their current skill level, developmental needs, and competitive readiness.
Every athlete who attends team placements will be placed on a team.
Tryout Dates & Times
Tryouts are free. Registration is required.
Tryouts will take place in late February/March.

Attitude. Effort. Faith.
THE AEF PLACEMENT PROCESS
AEF uses an unbiased and objective evaluation system designed specifically for youth basketball development. Our goal is to ensure each athlete is placed in the environment where they will improve, be challenged, and experience success.
Evaluations include the following areas:
- Individual skill development: shooting, ball handling, playmaking, defense
- Basketball IQ: decision-making, spacing, awareness, situational understanding
- Effort and attitude: consistency, work ethic, resilience, willingness to learn
- Communication and teamwork: connection with peers, leadership, on-court presence
Our approach reflects AEF’s commitment to building not only better basketball players, but stronger young people grounded in positive attitude, consistent effort, and faith-driven character.
