Youth Basketball Coaches
Help shape the next generation of athletes in Omaha.
Our coaching team plays a key role in creating a positive, high-energy environment where players feel supported, challenged, and encouraged to grow.
What We’re Looking For
We welcome coaches who are:
Positive and encouraging
Reliable and committed to team development
Comfortable communicating with players and parents
Passionate about teaching fundamentals and character
Ready to uphold AEF’s values of Attitude, Effort, and Faith
Experience is helpful, but you don’t need to be an expert player to be an excellent coach. If you enjoy leading young athletes and want to grow alongside them, we’d love to meet you.
AEF Jr. Coaching Program (Ages 16+)
Our AEF Jr. Coaching Program gives high-character teens (age 16 and older) the opportunity to develop leadership skills, gain coaching experience, and contribute to the Omaha basketball community.
Jr. Coaches Will:
Assist AEF coaches during practices
Help lead drills and skill stations
Learn communication and teaching techniques
Build confidence on and off the court
Gain real experience working with youth athletes
This is a meaningful opportunity for student-athletes who want to grow as mentors, serve their community, or explore future roles in coaching or education.
Train. Lead. Inspire.
