About AEF Basketball

Built on Values. Driven by Purpose.

Attitude. Effort. Faith.

AEF Basketball began with a simple belief: young athletes grow best when they’re challenged, supported, and surrounded by people who care about who they’re becoming, not just how they perform.
That belief shaped three core values that define everything we do: Attitude, Effort, and Faith.

These values aren’t slogans or locker-room buzzwords. They are the foundation of our coaching, the heartbeat of our community, and the lens through which every athlete learns to lead, compete, and build confidence.

Our Mission

Develop the Player. Strengthen the Person.

We train athletes to play the game the right way. But more importantly, we help them develop habits that matter long after the season ends. AEF players learn to communicate, stay composed under pressure, support their teammates, and embrace challenges with a growth-minded perspective.

We believe basketball is more than a sport. It’s a place where character is formed, friendships grow, and young people discover what they’re capable of.

Our Difference

A Culture That Puts People First

AEF is known for its positive, team-centered environment.
We’re intentional about building relationships, teaching accountability, and celebrating progress at every level. When athletes feel seen and supported, their confidence rises — and their skills follow.

Our System

A Coaching System You Can Trust

Player development begins with the coach. That’s why every AEF coach works under the guidance of Coach Beck, receives ongoing evaluations, and participates in structured training led by AEF Skills Instructors.

Our coaches learn how to communicate clearly, correct with purpose, and create a court environment where athletes can thrive.

Before stepping on the floor, each coach completes a full background screening, and our Abuse Prevention Program, reflecting the responsibility we carry for every athlete in our care.

Our Commitment

Consistent Training for Every Athlete

Every AEF athlete deserves access to the same foundation — regardless of age, experience, or team placement.
Our training model gives players equal exposure to skill work, transition concepts, and team development through a curriculum that builds across the season and deepens year after year.

Proudly Part of Wolf Pack Sports Foundation

AEF Basketball is proud to be a program of the Wolf Pack Sports Foundation, a nonprofit organization committed to helping young athletes grow through sports while expanding access to the opportunities and resources that support their development.

Through Wolf Pack, qualifying families may have access to scholarships and financial assistance that help remove barriers to participation. Learn more about the Foundation, its mission, and available scholarship opportunities.

How We Show Up for Omaha

We’re proud to serve the Omaha community. Not just with basketball programs, but with a place where young people can build meaningful friendships and learn the value of integrity, discipline, and gratitude.

AEF athletes carry those lessons into school, family life, future teams, and everyday moments where character matters most. That’s the real win.

So impressed with this organization and the emphasis they place on growing character first to develop young men to be future leaders of tomorrow. I have seen the coaches take personal interest in these young men. In addition, I have also seen great skill development and exceptional teamwork on the court.

Took my 3 daughter's here for their 1st basketball camp ever. I heard good things about this program. I will update later after hearing from my daughter's. Update: My daughter's loved the program and the coaching staff! They said they had an amazing time and can't wait to come back! They said they learned a lot of good useful tips from the coaches and new skills from all the drills and they plan to keep training and utilizing all of them in the future. WNBA here we come. Thanks AEF Basketball ⛹️‍♀️🤾‍♀️

We joined AEF last year after trying several different clubs for my 14 year old son. It has been such a great experience. We love the coaching staff, positive atmosphere, skill development and personal relationship the coaches have with the kids. It’s not convenient for us as we are a 30 min drive from the practice facility, but it’s 100% worth it to us to make the drive. Coach Andy is wonderful to work with and understands the demands of busy families and multi sport athletes.

If you’re looking for a basketball club that actually develops players and character, AEF Omaha is it. Every single coach we’ve encountered has been outstanding. They communicate clearly, consistently, and with purpose. No confusion, no guesswork, just real coaching. And what stands out most is how they meet athletes where they are. Whether your player is just getting started or already highly skilled, they know how to push in the right way. Challenging, never demeaning. Competitive, but constructive. You can feel the mission behind the program. The owner and leadership are intentional about who they hire. These are coaches who connect with kids, demand discipline, and genuinely care about development on and off the court. It’s competitive basketball with structure, accountability, and heart. AEF isn’t just building teams. They’re building confident, disciplined young adults. And it shows.
